Except for one incident in Graefelfing, the storm storm Petra, which moved across the Würmtal in the night of Tuesday, did little damage here.
Würmtal - A capital beech tree crashed into an apartment building in Killerstrasse and damaged parts of the roof, a skylight window and the facade. According to the fire service, a fence and garden furniture were also badly affected in the garden.
The fire brigade removed the parts of the tree that were on the roof using chainsaws and temporarily sealed it with a tarpaulin. The tree, weighing around six tons, leaned against the house so unhappily that it pressed against a patio door. A crane from Schmidbauer called him away. In addition, a tree had fallen onto the Rudolfstrasse road in Graefelfing, which the fire brigade dismantled with the saws.
In Neuried, too, a tree fell onto Starnberger Weg on the former Hettlage site and blocked the passage. Together with employees from the building yard, the Neurieder fire brigade cleared the tree.
In the communities of Planegg and Krailling there was no significant storm damage except for a few fallen branches. Other regions were much worse off.
