Majida Issa will return to Telemundo's screen to bring Amalia Ortega to life in the new super series "Operation Pacific", a police drama that will show heroes fighting for justice and fighting corruption.
The Colombian actress was born in Barranquilla, although she grew up on the island of San Andrés, where she acquired her taste for the arts, thanks also in part to her grandmother Teresa Gutierrez and her aunt Maria Margarita Giraldo, well-known actresses in Colombia.
Majida is a graduate of the National School of Theater Art of the National Institute of Fine Arts in Mexico, which gave her the opportunity to start her career in the world of acting with very important roles.
Among his most recognized projects are the soap operas "The cartel of the toads", "Rich children, poor parents" and "The Clone", however, one of his most remembered roles is Yesica Beltrán "La Diabla" in "Sin Senos Yes There is Paradise. ”

This opportunity came to the life of Issa in 2016, when the melodrama broadcasts began, which is a sequel to the hit telenovela “Sin Senos No Hay Paraíso”.
During the first three seasons of the series, Majida achieved much success with this character, becoming one of the most important of his career. However, during the recordings of the third season he announced that he would no longer participate in the project.

“Having the opportunity to give life to this dual character has been a privilege. The public will identify with Amalia, as she struggles daily to try to balance her personal and professional life, ”Majida said.
In "Operation Pacific," the actress plays Amalia Ortega, a woman who decides to join the police forces after losing her parents to a dangerous drug dealer.
However, being an undercover police officer, she must appear to be a normal woman, who is an insurance agent, a loving wife, a mother of two children and an unconditional sister.

His life will run more risk than ever when he receives the mission of capturing "El Guapo", one of the last drug traffickers on the northern border of Mexico and that is a complete mystery, because nobody has seen it.
To achieve this, he must infiltrate not only the drug trafficking networks, but also the corruption networks at the highest levels of power in his country, playing his own life and that of his family.
