Classroom learning, one-way, passive and no communication is forbidden, so "self-directed learning" has always been a eager learning model for students. Fortunately, the school has introduced the DreamStarter to encourage students to enter the community to find dreams this year, and has become the first elementary school on Hong Kong Island to allow students to "dream free". With a year in mind, the plan to intensify design thinking and business management training from conception, design, raising funds, seeking technical support, and putting into production will be carried out by other people who think their classmates are in a "stupid dream." ─ "Learning, playing, and growing."

Business management training first experience statement ideas win sponsorship

A few days ago, a big blue balloon with the words "Dream of a Better World" landed on the school's covered playground, cheering for the fifth-grade students who participated in the DreamStarter program in the community this year. The classmates came to the stage for the first time on the day, and each group was divided into: "electric sweeper", "smart cat park", "leading catwalk eco-friendly clothing" and "love for love". The four plan ideas boldly stated to business elites from the business community, hoping to obtain their financial or technical support. This is also a valuable and valuable experience in training students to become future entrepreneurs.

Sure enough, the four groups of students finally live up to expectations, defeating the timidity of speaking on the stage, successfully completing the goal of "fundraising day", and working hard to further realize their dreams in the future. Among them, the students who committed to the design of the "electric sweeper" for the purpose of lightening the work of the scavenger successfully won the favor of the relevant industry. In addition to the financial sponsorship, the company also provided substantial technical support, as if it injected a strong heart into them. .

Life-wide learning

In this group of fifth-graders, Teacher Liang, who plays the role of facilitator, leads them to dream together. Under her guidance, the students have a clear division of labor, and in accordance with each person's personality traits, they are responsible for different procedures such as document integration, external relations, and drawing design. He has written fundraising letters for fundraising; he tried to clean outside the school and interviewed scavengers to optimize the design. At this stage, a sketch design is also completed, and the students express their ideas in brush strokes. The fine drawing of the design drawings is comparable to professional designers. In the past few months, everyone has learned to assemble human-capable electric high trucks by hands, so as to understand the mechanical driving and electric principles of Langzhong. In the final driving practice, you will learn that drivers and road users should have an attitude and safety awareness, and prepare for basic training in putting their own design into production in the future. It is no wonder that students are so devoted to studying so close to life. Not only did I learn the importance of communication and collaboration, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-management, but also enriched the process of gradually evolving the concept from conception to "reality" for the team. It is said that this is 100 times more interesting than the traditional learning model. It also indirectly puts all the mathematics of the 21st century's resilience into practice.

Optimize Community 3 Ideas

In addition to the "Electric Sweeper", the school has three groups, each of which has different ideas for optimizing communities for the elderly, animals and environmental protection. Details are as follows:

[Love is loving]

Elders sometimes do not disturb their children, and some people are left alone in their old age. During the experience of visiting the elderly center, the students realized that they were really hungry for their care. So I wanted to make some environmentally friendly handpieces for them, and chat with them and care more. I also hope to raise environmental awareness by making small crafts. A few days ago, they participated in the decoration creation together, the purpose is to strengthen everyone's aesthetic consciousness, and to prepare in advance for the small crafts designed for the elders in his daily life.

["Catwalk Leader in Environmental Clothing"]

In the glitzy world, people have more clothes than they actually need, which is wasteful and not environmentally friendly. The classmates hope that through the Dreamstarter program, they will understand the relationship between second-hand clothes and environmental protection and poverty. They will also personally make environmentally friendly fashion, and use catwalk to promote the message of cherishing clothing to the community that wastes clothing. So, a few days ago, they first learned the art of decorating facial masks from their instructors, and personally visited boutiques run by charity groups to understand the recycling, sorting, and sales of used objects in preparation for sewing second-hand clothing in the future.

[Smart Cat Park]

When the students went to school, they saw stray kittens lingering on Dongyuan Road. They were thin and thin, and they looked like they needed care. This triggered students to hope that cats could provide a safe and snack paradise for cats, not only to provide shelter for cats, but also to promote peaceful coexistence between humans and animals. In the cabin conceived by the students, there will be CCTV, smart fans, automatic feeding and drinking fountains, and small animal toys. It is also hoped that the functions mentioned above are all driven by solar energy to support renewable energy.
