Yesterday (7th) was the eve of the measures. A total of 9,5982 people entered the country, nearly 1,400 more than the previous day (6th), an increase of 17% on a daily basis. Among the immigrants, there are 76,000 Hong Kong residents; 12,000 mainland visitors, accounting for about 13% of the total number of arrivals, and the number of mainland immigrants increased by 15% from the previous day.

According to figures from the Immigration Department, 95,982 people entered yesterday (7th), nearly 14,000 more than the 6th of this month and 37,000 more than the 5th of the month. The increase was mainly from land ports. Of these, 58,000 people entered through the Shenzhen Bay Port, accounting for about 60% of the total, and more than 28,000 people entered through the airport, accounting for about 30%.

Among the arrivals yesterday, 12,746 were Mainland visitors, 1,737 more than the previous day (6th) and about 3,986 more than on the 5th of this month. There were 5,563 mainland visitors entering the airport yesterday, which was similar to the previous day; 6,555 mainland visitors entered via Shenzhen Bay Port, 1,742 more than the previous day.
