That is the case of the residents of Villa del Parque , who on Saturday cut the tracks of the San Martin railway to demand that they restore their service .
The form of protest irritated some passengers, who rebuked the protesters because they had to get off the train outside the station, with the assistance of the guards, and could not continue traveling to Retiro. By the demonstration, the train ends at the Caseros station.
From Edesur they explained to Clarín that the power cut in Villa del Parque affects about 2,500 neighbors and is due to a triple fault in the medium voltage network , which is very complex to repair and that appeared within seven days of heat wave.

The affected Capital neighborhoods are Villa del Parque, with 2,582 users without electricity ; Pompeii, with 850, and Montserrat, with 271.
On the other hand, in the area of Edenor at that same time there were 8,995 users without electricity , against 2,989,496 with normal supply. In this case, the largest court is in the town of General Rodríguez, with 7,938 affected. There is also a breakdown in the medium voltage network. The others are isolated cuts.
In total, then, this Saturday there were 17,694 users without electricity. On Friday they became 28 thousand. And on Thursday, with a thermal sensation that reached 42 °, 25,000. However, the amount decreased compared to other years, when in the middle of the heat were 100 thousand users who suffered interruptions in the service.
