This week, Jimena Barón was at the center of the controversy after the repudiation he received on social networks for the poster with which he decided to promote his new musical work. Following the negative reactions of the promotion of Puta , her most recent single, the actress issued an extensive statement that she shared on her official Instagram account, which is followed by more than 6 million people.

However, criticism of the creator of "La Cobra" persisted. That's why Barón made a drastic decision: he removed from Instagram the extensive disclaimer he had shared. But he also deleted from his publications the controversial poster with which he sought to promote his new song and the post in which he posed with Georgina Orellano, general secretary of the Association of Women Meretrices of Argentina (AMMAR), who was accused of "pimp" by Margarita Meira, president of the Association Mothers Victims of Trafficking.

Apparently, Jimena was affected by this whole situation and, after seeing that the scandal was crescendo , he claimed. It is that, of course, there were many comments and criticisms that he received by the poster that, although he justified it in his statement, was understood by the majority as a clear reference to the ads with which prostitutes offer their sexual services in the public road.

"I take absolute charge without leaving room for the chance of the promotional campaign we decided to do. We wanted to see where the head of people was going by simply seeing a poster with a sexy image of me, a hot dog and a phone number ... Of course we knew it would generate confusion and it was the idea ... ", he had written in a statement.

In the same release, which is no longer found in the Baron's official account feed , he extended his explanation: "My need and duty to sincerely apologize if the method with which we tried to make them rethink things and debate hurt some kind of susceptibility and led us to think that we would be in favor of something as frightening and inhuman as human trafficking. I cannot understand that there are people who believe that a team of more than 50 people would be in favor of fostering such a bestiality ... "

The striking thing is that Baron also deleted the extensive message he had posted on Instagram in which he apologized, repudiated the trafficking of persons and claimed, from his point of view, the woman who chooses what to do with her body. However, his message was misunderstood and that is why he also fell with everything through social networks. What will you do with the topic you plan to launch?
