Eight Iraqi civilians were injured today by four terrorist bombings in separate areas of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
The Sumariah news site quoted a security source as saying: "An explosive device exploded this evening near a popular cafe in the New Baghdad area, what resulted in the injury of two civilians."
The source pointed out that another explosive device was placed on the side of the road in the Jokuk area, which exploded, seriously injuring a civilian.
The site also quoted a security source as saying that "an explosive device was placed in a popular market in the area of the martyrs of Al-Bayaa in Baghdad, and it exploded this evening, injuring three people, who happened to be passing the moment of the explosion."
The Iraqi security source said that "an explosive device planted on the side of the road in the Cairo neighborhood, north of Baghdad, exploded, wounding a man and a woman," adding that the security forces cordoned off the place.
An Iraqi soldier was wounded earlier today as a result of a terrorist bombing that targeted an army bus south of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
