The customs investigation agency in Dortmund and employees of the cities of Recklinghausen and Bottrop were involved in part of the controls with the police.
With this further joint action, the authorities involved are continuing to fight clan crime, the police said on Saturday morning. Officials seize untaxed tobacco and a prohibited weapon.
