The Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior indicated that all roads in the governorates are impassable, except for several roads in the governorate of Damascus, Lattakia, and Sweida that are impassable due to the prevailing weather conditions.
The Traffic Department indicated in its publication this evening that Sana received a copy of it that all roads leading to the Nabek area in the Damascus countryside governorate are passable with snow, except for the Assal Al-Ward / Al-Jubbah / Ras al-Maarah road, with difficulty due to the formation of ice and snow accumulation. In the Zabadani area, all roads are clear with The presence of snow and all roads leading to the Qatana area are impassable except for the Boqasim / Ernah road, which is impassable due to snow accumulation.
In Lattakia Governorate, all roads in the governorate are passable, except for the Juba Barghal / Al-Ghab road that is impassable due to snow accumulation and snow formation, the Juba Barghal road / Slanfeh, the road to Slanfeh / broadcasting station / the jungle and the Markia road / Maqamat of Bani Hashem, the Daliyah road / Jableh and the Daliya road / Ma'in Batmoush all of which are not Salik due to snow accumulation.
In the Governorate of As-Suwayda, all roads in the governorate are passable except for the road of Namira / Ghaida and Namira / Tema / Umm Dhabib / and the road of Al-Mashnaf and its villages and the road to the city of Salsakh and its villages towards the direction of Salt and its villages are all impassable due to the accumulation of snow, while the road of Salsakh / Al-Kufr is difficult due to the accumulation of snow.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to use lights for fog, check brakes, reduce speed at corners, slopes, road joints and drive with caution to avoid accidents, noting that they allocated the numbers “5422703” and “5411365” to inquire about the condition of the roads.
