More than a week after returning to Israel, Naama Issachar first released a post on Sunday, thanking her relatives and activists who were fighting for her while serving a 10-month prison sentence in Russian prison. On the Facebook page "Wewantnaama", which was dedicated to the fight for its release, Issachar wrote: "You gave me lots of land in the chaos, because I knew in my heart that I was not fighting alone."

She opened the post by saying, "For a few days now I have been thinking how to thank you, how to reach out to all of you and say that I am so grateful for this love. To them. I'm so excited to be in the country, and the amount of hugs and support I get warms my heart. "

Issachar thanked her family, who "led the fight and were there for a moment, and for those who took part in the unimaginable efforts to bring me back." In addition, she thanked the artists, athletes and public opinion leaders who participated in the fight, as well as social network activists and those who contributed to the mass mobilization campaign. "None of this would have happened without you," she added. "I'm lucky to have a circle of people who kept me that way while I didn't have the ability to do it myself. You brought me home."

The 26-year-old Issachar served a sentence of about 10 months in prison in the Russian prison after he was caught last April with 9.6 grams of cannabis at the Sharmiatsu airport, on his way back to India. She was sent to 7.5 years in prison, but at the end of last month Russian President Vladimir Putin granted her a pardon, and she returned to Israel on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plane with him, after the latter met with President Putin in Moscow. When she returned to her home on the streets, Naama said: "I'm still in the market from all the situation, but I admit everything."

Despite being pardoned, Issachar's attorneys continue to work to cancel the charges against her. The defense team claims that an illegal and unfair decision was made that led to the conviction of an innocent. In addition, attorneys will also appeal to the European Court of Human Rights for allegedly violating Issachar's rights during her imprisonment.
