Tseung Kwan O Po Lam Road near Ma You Tong headed for Sau Mau Ping. An accident involving three vehicles collided at about 7 am today (10th). The accident involved dump trucks, private cars, and motorcycles. The 39-year-old motorcyclist crashed into a dump truck parked on the side of the road. The motorcycle driver fell to the ground, and the debris from the motorcycle hit the private car driving to the previous site. The motorcyclist sustained serious head and chest injuries, leaving a large amount of blood on the scene. The coma was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. Drivers of dump trucks and private cars passed an alcohol breath test.
The Transport Department announced that due to a traffic accident, the entire lane of Po Lam Road towards Kowloon near Ma You Tong Village was closed. At the same time, the direction of Tseung Kwan O on Po Lam Road was changed to one-way two-way traffic.
