Tuesday, the first Security Council hearing was held on Trump's "Centennial Plan" for Middle East peace. Although the Palestinian Authority reiterated its request to vote in the UN Security Council on a decision rejecting the US president's plan, the UN Chairman Abu Mazen, who is expected to deliver a document showing alleged violations of international law in the US peace program, is now speaking.
In his speech, Abu Mazen sent quite a few harsh messages. Among other things, the head of the authority said: "The century deal is an American-Israeli plan to bring about the end of Palestine. The state that will be given us will be like perforated cheese, and which of you will receive such a deal?"
"Israel strengthens its apartheid regime," Abu Mazen added, "and this program does not address the crimes that have been done to our people. We thank the Israelis who rejected this deal, and those who stood by us in the US Senate and Congress. And now they say: "We are fighting for justice. I also want to thank the protesters in Israel. "
