Last updated: 2020-02-11 07:37At 9 o'clock last night (10th), authorities received a report that a man was drowned on the Tolo Highway in Tai Po near Tai Po Au Pier. Rescuers arrived at the scene and found a man floating on the sea 15 meters across the pier. The fireman was immediately rescued by the drowning man. He was unconscious. The ambulanceman immediately rescued him and took him to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital for treatment. However, he was later certified dead.
No suicide note was seized at the scene. The surname of the deceased was Huang (29 years old). After preliminary investigation by the police, it was believed that the incident was not suspicious. The cause of death of the deceased was to be determined after an autopsy.
