(CNN Spanish) - An explosion inside the Mocoví prison in Bolivia left at least one dead and 27 injured, the Bolivian Information Agency reported.
The director of the Departmental Health Service, Carlos Reyes, informed that in addition to the deceased, there are four more people with a reserved diagnosis.
The Ombudsman, Alberto Condori, added that it was an explosion of an artifact in hall A of the prison and authorities are investigating the case.
The authorities reported that after the explosion the injured were taken to the German Busch Hospital and to the hospital of the National Health Fund.
