Judge Marcelo Martínez De Giorgi was in charge of Federal Court No. 11, vacant after the death of Claudio Bonadio, as determined by the raffle held on Tuesday through a locker. The magistrate will be in charge until the contest is opened to appoint the holder.
That court is responsible for sensitive cases such as those linked to Hugo and Pablo Moyano; to the trade unionist of the doormen and a man very close to the government, Víctor Santa María; a file against Julio De Vido for illicit enrichment and a few derivatives of the case notebooks regarding the environment of Daniel Muñoz, former private secretary of Nestor Kirchner.
In that office the complaint known as "Operation Pouf", an alleged plot to harm the case notebooks through the investigations of the judge of Dolores Alejo Ramos Padilla is also investigated.
Federal Court 11, in charge of Bonadio since 1994 and until last week, was drawn by the Buenos Aires federal Chamber on Tuesday. There it was decided among seven magistrates who will remain as subrogant until a contest is called to cover said space with a titular judge. In principle there were 10 candidates, but three excused themselves: María Servini, Luis Rodríguez and Daniel Rafecas.
The sub-elegance, in principle, is for one year and for the judge drawn, 30% more compensation will be due.
With the death of Bonadio, there are now two vacant courts in Comodoro Py. The first that was left without its owner was Sergio Torres, who last year assumed in the Buenos Aires Court of Justice. Since then, his pair Rodolfo Canicoba Corral has been in charge, and although he will be included in the draw on Tuesday, he is already covering two courts today.
Bonadio passed away last week.
Although the case of the notebooks of the coimas was the largest file on corruption that the court had in recent times, that case has already closed its investigation and was raised to oral trial. In court 11 there were only a few minor related cases linked to the money laundering section where Daniel Muñoz was investigated, with the last accused in that route of externalization and repatriation of illicit funds mainly applied to the acquisition of properties in Patagonia.

Alejandro Vandenbroele : The complaint that was generated regarding the alleged payment of funds by the government of Mauricio Macri in favor of Vandenbroele as a defendant was filed. The program obliges the economic subsidy of those who become "repentant," but the complaint, based on a journalistic note, argues that Amado Boudou's alleged frontman received money to buy a boutique hotel in Mendoza in exchange for his confession to the Justice.
Causes against the Moyano: with measures of tests carried out and important progress, in Court 11 is one of the most sensitive causes for the Moyano family. Bonadio was in charge of the case on the management of the social work of Truckers. Alleged diversions of funds to companies linked to the truck driver leader are investigated. The liability of the Social Work exceeds 1,700 million pesos, but at the same time appears making payments to companies linked to Liliana Zulet, wife of Hugo Moyano. These companies, in particular the Ancora construction company, were investigated by the Financial Information Unit (FIU), which detected that the construction company received 220 million pesos and 50% of those funds came from Truckers.
Among Bonadio's latest measures in the case, an accounting report was ordered that was already handed over to the court, and that according to judicial sources "corroborates the diversion of funds."
Víctor Santa María: Another unionist investigated in Court 11 is the head of the guild of porters. The cause has a report from the FIU and documentation provided by Deputy Graciela Ocaña, where he was denounced for alleged millionaire operations in Switzerland that could respond to money laundering maneuvers. Judge Bonadio requested in the last measures an accounting expert report "to determine the movements of funds" that are under suspicion. A financial intelligence report that Clarín revealed showed operations carried out between the goalkeepers' union and companies linked to other financiers with “purposes outside the union activity”.
"Operation Pouf": one of the files that entered last year in Federal 11 is known as "Operation Pouf", which investigates the existence of an alleged plot to "hinder" the investigation of the cause of the notebooks .
“Operation Pouf” is called the maneuver that, according to the complaint, “armed, from the Ezeiza jail, the former Secretary of Coordination Roberto Baratta, to try to remove prosecutor Carlos Stornelli from the cause of the notebooks and make fall the case in which former President Cristina Kirchner is prosecuted. ”
