The national government appointed Daniel Rodríguez as Director of the Presidential Residence of Olivos . The designation would be one of the many that become official every day if it were not because the nominee is one of President Alberto Fernández's best friends.
According to decree 122, published on Tuesday in the Official Gazette, the appointment has been in effect since January 2 and is "temporary, for 180 days."
Rodriguez is one of the men close to the President. In fact, he was his driver during the campaign and was in charge of the move made by the former head of Cabinet from his department of Puerto Madero to Quinta de Olivos, days after assuming.
Also, it was a kind of cabal, both in the previous STEP and in the general ones: it was one of those who accompanied Fernández for breakfast on each of those Sundays.
The designation is transitory because Rodríguez does not meet the requirements established in article 14 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement of the National Public Employment System, which among other things establishes the obligation to have a bachelor's degree, work experience in the relevant specialty to the position, among others.
"The General Secretariat of the Presidency requests the temporary coverage of the vacant and financed position of director of the Presidential Residence of Olivos" to "ensure the normal development of the aforementioned agency," says the decree that bears the signature of the chief of staff Santiago Cafiero.
