The Chinese Council member's social work director grade branch sent an internal email this morning (12th), confirming that five staff members had cold symptoms and were waiting for the hospital test results. The chairman of the association, Liang Jianxiong, added that the staff members had fever, abdominal pain and sore throat.

Chairman, Chinese Workers' Social Work Branch: 5 colleagues have fever, belly
"Hong Kong 01" received an internal e-mail from the China Council of Social Work Director Grade Branch this morning, mentioning that the "Department of Health (IFSC) (Integrated Family Service Centre) colleague was inquiring about his physical condition yesterday. Workers said that they had related symptoms (not consistent cold symptoms) in the past few days, so the Department of Health recommended that the five colleagues go to the hospital for testing.
The e-mail sent at 10:30 this morning continued to indicate that testing has so far failed to yield results. The reporter called the chairman of the union, Liang Jianxiong, for confirmation. He confirmed that the email was true and added the five SWD staff involved. He had fever, abdominal pain, and sore throat.
The reporter went to the center to observe this morning and found that it was closed. A notice posted on the outside of the center stated that "the center temporarily suspended service due to an emergency." "Hong Kong 01" asked the SWD for a reply.

SWD internal message: Separate toilet drainage system from households in household service centres
Some residents of Kangmeilou have been diagnosed with "Wuhan pneumonia" recently. Later, another low-level 07 unit resident was also recruited. After inspection, government officials suspected that the resident had altered the toilet exhaust pipe, which caused gas leakage and poisoning, and evacuated some residents during the night.
The SWD reported that the HD had inspected the toilets in the Tsing Yi South Family Service Centre and confirmed that the sewage system was separated from the residents upstairs. Liang Jianxiong confirmed the relevant information and pointed out that the message circulated by Whatapps may tremble with the workers and urged not to overreact.
