Israel to Japan: Get the Israeli citizens off the Corona ship

The Foreign Ministry has appealed to the Japanese authorities to remove the Israeli civilians from the ship that is in isolation to the state's beaches due to the Corona virus. The Foreign Minister instructed other insulation options for Israeli citizens on the ship. "Every effort will be made to bring them back to Israel, while maintaining the necessary conditions"

The Foreign Ministry contacted Japanese authorities on Wednesday to remove Israeli civilians from the ship where some of the passengers in Corona were infected. In addition, the Foreign Office asked the Japanese authorities to look at other insulation options for passengers. Foreign Minister Israel Katz will set up a state-of-the-art system tomorrow on the Corona virus at the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem.

The Foreign Ministry stated that they are in daily contact with the Japanese authorities regarding the Israeli civilians on the ship off the coast of Japan. It was also reported that the Israeli Embassy in Japan takes care to ensure the needs of Israeli citizens, including regular supply of drugs and kosher food, with the Japanese authorities assisting with everything required. Also, parcels of supplies were shipped from the country. In addition, the Foreign Ministry is considering how to help citizens return to Israel upon completion of the isolation period, including a letter from the Japanese authorities authorizing the end of the isolation period to allow citizens to fly back to Israel.

The Hubei Province Health Commission, the focus of the Corona outbreak, announced today that the number of victims of the Corona virus, or by its new name, the Cubid-19, has risen to 1,113 people, after counting 97 more victims. The total number of viruses worldwide has risen to 44,653. Except for two, one in the Philippines and one in Hong Kong, all victims are in China. In Hubei province alone, the virus has made 980 victims, and some 32,000 people have been infected.
