The Ministry of the Interior announced that members of the Criminal Security Branch in Homs were able to seize a commercial store selling mobile phones in the city's Hamra neighborhood, whose owners deal in a currency other than the Syrian pound.

The ministry clarified in a statement that Sana received a copy of it today that after investigating the aforementioned shop in coordination with the judicial police in the Central Bank of Syria in Homs, he found in it an amount of ten thousand dollars and an amount of one hundred and three thousand Syrian pounds and in investigation with the owners of the store they confessed to dealing in a currency other than the lira and exchanging currencies without a license to sell and buy the goods In foreign currency.

The Ministry indicated that the confiscated amounts were handed over to the Central Bank of Syria and investigations are continuing to take the necessary legal measures against them.
