Secular and religious South Tel Aviv boys gathered for a spontaneous protest in front of the municipal building in response to the Tel Aviv municipality's ban on putting tefillin booths in the public domain.

The boys, most of whom are not religious but close to tradition and gd-lovers, received the news that the Tel Aviv municipality issued and felt the need to protest this ban. They approached Benjamin Asher, an activist and youth activist in southern Tel Aviv, who decided on a protest and spontaneous move to come with the boys to the square opposite the municipality with prayer shawls and tefillin and to sing Sabbath songs and Judaism.

The activist and youth activist Benjamin, who tells Walla: "When the boys approached me, I decided that I should not let the matter go on the agenda. I saw the fervor of boys who felt they had to consecrate heaven in response to the same ban, so we decided to come to the city hall and protest."

SHA, one of those teens who put Tefillin in protest against the ban it issued, tells Walla: "True, I am a resident of Tel Aviv, but first of all, I am Jewish and love G-d and believe, and no one will stop me from following the commandments." Boys were encouraged to go and protest and fight the war of God and sanctify heaven there.

Another boy who participated in the protest is SH: "I felt the need to come and express my personal protest and to pain the pain of Judaism in Tel Aviv"
