You defend the concept of "social market ecology". How do you define it?
It is a coherent and global response to the great challenge of the 21st century, global warming and the preservation of the planet. The risk of this century is that of negative environmental externalities, that is, damage to the environment caused by human productive activity. The standard is likely to regulate them. For example, ecological taxes at EU borders could block imports from countries that do not respect the Paris agreements. These responses must be social in order to prevent them from being done to the detriment of the working classes. They must be market-based because only economically viable practices are sustainable and likely to improve the daily lives of populations. Social market ecology is likely to reconcile economy and ecology.
