Mong Kok lone thief holds "toy gun" to rob Luk Fook Jewellery

He suspected that he splashed water on two female staff members and took out a toy gun to claim "robbery". The male thief walked out of the door after taking a batch of gold jewelry. The Chief Criminal Inspector Wu Denan of Mong Kok District said that as early as 11:18 this morning, a male thief broke into Luk Fook Jewellery Shop at 36-38 Argyle Street, Mong Kok. The male thief held a bottle of suspected heavenly water, splashed it on two female employees in the shop, and took out a suspected pistol to claim "robbing". The jewellery store staff handed over a batch of jewellery, including 26 pairs of gold dragons and phoenixes, 88 gold hands and 48 gold bracelets.

The thief put the gold ornaments in his own red, white, and blue bags, and then took the door. Later, three staff members found the suspect's pistol was a toy gun and chased the interceptor. They stopped the suspect at the corner, entangled a group of off-duty police station shepherds, helped to subdue the suspect, and then the assault team members at the scene took the male suspect away. The whole uniform process takes about five minutes.

Wu Denan said that after preliminary investigation, the male thief was holding a plastic air gun that could fire BB bombs. There was no BB bomb in the gun at the time of the incident, and the performance of the gun was low. All gold jewelry in the jewellery store has been recovered. Initially believed that the 52 man named Li was a lone thief. He reported that he was unemployed and had a criminal record. The case is currently being investigated by a squad of Mong Kok. The suspect's entire criminal process was about two minutes. A male staff member of the jewelry shop was bitten by the suspect's left back. He was taken to the hospital by an ambulance.
