In a similar interview, Deputy Director of the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Vladislav Belov, stressed that what the Syrian Arab Army is doing to target terrorists in Idlib comes within the framework of its powers and duties entrusted to it as a national army defending the land of his country, and this is what Russia firmly supports, especially since the Turkish side He does not comply with his responsibilities according to the Sochi Agreements, which Russia always declares and warns of the dangers and threats resulting from the practices of terrorist groups supported by the Turkish regime in Idlib.

Belov stressed Russia's position of adhering to the unity, sovereignty, territorial integrity and territorial integrity of Syria while the Turkish regime is working to implement its own goals contrary to the provisions of the Sochi Agreements.

In turn, Deputy Director of the Institute of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Vladimir Yvesev, pointed out that Russia cannot fully rely on the Turkish system, recalling the shooting down of two Russian military aircraft by the Turkish regime forces and their terrorist groups, as well as the assassination of the Russian ambassador in Turkey Andrei Karlov in 2016.
