Let's Dance 2020: The star this year will probably be Wendler friend Laura Müller

Wendler friend Laura Müller is likely to be the star of this year's show. The 19-year-old could steal the show from the other participants - not least because she only recently made headlines with revealing photos in the men's magazine Playboy *. In any case, she's already announcing her anticipation on Instagram: "In a few days' time," she writes, and she posted a video snippet in which she stands behind a dangling golden disco ball and spreads kissing hands.

Let's Dance's professional dancers: there are changes in personnel

All fans of the professional dancers Ekaterina Leonova * should be disappointed: she will not be in the 13th season of "Let's Dance" . In the past year, she even won the victory with Pascal Hens. Katja Kalugina and Evgeny Vinokurov will also be absent this year. The good news: Most of the other familiar faces are on board again - including Isabel Edvardsson, Erich Klann and Massimo Sinató. Furthermore there are: Marta Arndt, Robert Beitsch, Regina Luca, Christina Luft, Renata Lusin, Valentin Lusin, Kathrin Menzinger, Christian Polanc, Andrzej Cibis, Alona Uehlin and Nikita Kuzmin.

Let's Dance 2020: This is how the dancers are rated:

So far, the dance pairings have been rated according to the following mode: Each of the three jury members awards a rating of up to ten points (maximum rating), so a maximum of 30 points per dance can be achieved for each pairing. The points are then converted into a ranking . With 14 participants , the couple gets one point in the last place, the leading couple gets 14 points. This rating depends on the number of pairs that are still in the race. If there are only eight pairs left, the maximum achievable rating is eight points. In addition, the spectators can also vote on the performance of the participants - these votes are also converted into exactly that point rating. At the end, both ratings are added - and for the couple with the lowest score , the dance show is over.

Let's Dance 2019: This couple won last year:

For the 12th season of the dance show, ex-handball professional Pascal Hens * and his partner , professional dancer Ekaterina Leonova, won the crown. A record: Leonova had won for the third time in a row with her celebrity dance partner - just like in previous years with Ingolf Lück and Gil Ofarim. In 2019, singer Ella Finally came in second with her professional partner Valentin Lusin, and third place went to martial arts master Benjamin Piwko with professional dancer Isabel Edvardsson. Last season there was a little sensation among the participants : the first same-sex dance couple! The singer Kerstin Ott started with the professional dancer Regina Luca *. In the fifth episode, however, Ott and your partner left. The bizarre thing about it: the singer had previously wished to leave and asked her fans to stop calling for her. They did, and when Ott flew out, she cheered cheerfully on the dance floor * while Regina burst into tears . This had caused outrage on social media and also with juror Joachim Llambi.

How it all started at Let's Dance - Start in 2006:

The first season of Let's Dance was broadcast in 2006 and is being recorded in Cologne . The show is a German variant of the BBC show “Strictly Come Dancing”. Further adaptations are the US version "Dancing with the Stars", in Austria the program is called "Dancing Stars". Joachim Llambi has been on the Let's Dance jury since the first season, but his colleagues have changed: Harald Glööckler, Katarina Witt and Maite Kelly, among others, have already rated the dancers. Most recently, Motsi Mabuse and Jorge González were big names at Llambi's side. Daniel Hartwich has taken on the male part of the moderation duo since 2010 - the actor Hape Kerkeling moderated the first two seasons. Victoria Swarovski has been at Hartwich's side since 2018, her predecessors were Sylvie Meis and Nazan Eckes.

Even before the start of the 13th season of "Let's Dance", the rumor mill was bubbling - it was about a secret love affair *.
