The diversity of nationalities of the aspiring LVMH Prize winners confirms the international audience for the prestigious award. So many initiatives that resonate with an awareness of the fashion and luxury sector, and which are in line with the values of fashion always attentive to our environment. Note that, this year, more and more designers are working as a group. Among the semi-finalists, six duos and a trio are present. On February 27 and 28, the semi-finalists will present their creations to the International Committee of 68 experts in the showroom located at LVMH headquarters, at 22 avenue Montaigne in Paris. Then this jury will select 8 lucky people elected for the final which will take place at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, on June 5.
One-year financial support and mentorship
The winner of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers will thus receive 300,000 euros and will benefit for one year from tailor-made mentorship from a specially dedicated team of LVMH, expert in key areas such as intellectual property, sourcing, production, distribution, image, communication, marketing and sustainable development.
The Karl Lagerfeld Prize will reward a young creator with 150,000 euros and a year of mentoring. In addition, the Prize distinguishes three young graduates from fashion schools by offering them a scholarship of 10,000 euros. They will join, for a year, the creation studio of one of the group's houses.
