What a crash! A video on Twitter shows a dancer falling from a height of five meters in a strip club. After that, she just keeps dancing - even though her jaw is broken.
- In Dallas, a dancer fell off a pole in a strip club from a height of five meters
- Despite many injuries like a broken jaw, she just kept dancing
- A friend of hers is now collecting money for medical expenses on the Internet
Dallas - The scene hurts when you look at it: In a strip club in Dallas, Texas, a poledancer fell from a five-meter pole . A video of this bad accident is currently circulating on Twitter and has been clicked on millions of times. The hammer: Although the dancer Genea Sky had broken her jaw and broken some teeth, she just kept dancing afterwards.
Pole dancer falls five meters deep: "I am grateful that I am still alive."
The video was shared and commented on by even celebrities like the rapper 50 Cent on Twitter:
this bitch dead that just her nerves making her shake. LOL #lecheminduroi #bransoncognac pic.twitter.com/orLARoeg1N- 50cent (@ 50cent) February 10, 2020
Only then did the dancer apparently go to a hospital : In a two-minute video on Instagram , the woman commented in detail on the incident. Again and again tears run down her cheeks, her voice hangs. Actually, she didn't want to make a video about the whole situation, she says. But after videos of her crash went viral, her smartphone would not have stopped. She has received many messages asking people about their health .
"I am thankful that I am still alive ," she says. That is the most important thing for her. She also describes all of her injuries : she broke her jaw, broke some teeth and injured her ankle . On her chin she shows a place where she was sewn with a "few stitches". "Even with all the injuries on the face - it could have been much worse," she says. With her video she wants to say thank you for all the positive news. People shouldn't resent her if she can't answer every message personally.
Crashed Poledancer: Internet users doubt the severity of their injuries
But not every comment on their posts is positive: A user thinks he knows that it is impossible to speak as well as she does in the video if you have broken your jaw. The Internet fundraiser on the gofundme platform, which apparently a friend of hers started to cover medical expenses , is also criticized. Almost $ 38,000 has already been raised there.
After the crash: recovery wishes and lots of mockery and ridicule
In addition to many wishes for recovery , Genea Sky also has to endure a lot of mockery and ridicule. Especially on Twitter, many users make fun of their crash. "Why didn't anyone throw money in," jokes a user. "Someone should have thrown a ruff around her," quips another. "Cocaine is a hell drug," is another sarcastic comment .
Again and again unusual photos and videos on Twitter or Instagram are a hit on the net - although it doesn't always have to end in injuries, as in the case of Genea Sky.

Today has been a very long day. My surgery went well. My jaw is currently wired shut so please refrain from calling me as of right now and bare with me on replies because my phone hasn't stopped blowing up. Everyone's love & kind words have not gone unnoticed whatsoever and it means so much to me that all of you have blessed me and uplifted me in so many ways. I am overwhelmed in the best way by all the support. I was really nervous as this all started blowing up because people are cruel and this is a very sensitive time for me. But I never imagined so many people would stand behind me in a situation like this and that has outweighed all the negativity by far. I am beyond grateful for you all. I am in a tremendous amount of pain but i am ready for this road to recovery so I can get back to my life. I will continue to update everyone over the course of my recovery but thank you once again for EVERYTHING
