Almost a year after his death, the Technical Operations Division of the Federal Police could not unlock Natacha Jaitt's tablet . It was a process that had been pending since last year and that this week seemed to have been unlocked following a claim from his family.
Through his lawyer, Alejandro Cipolla, the daughter of the media had made a resounding request to Justice: "I come here to request the necessary means to request if you can contribute to open the Ipad device (of Jaitt), given that it is public knowledge that they were able to perform a similar maneuver in the clarification of the murder of Fernando Báez Sosa. "
The answer came just one day later. And it was positive. However, the procedure was not successful. "The tablet could not be opened. It was tried with 20% battery, then with 100%. They were afraid that the low load had to do with the complication, but no. It was for something else," Cipolla explained in dialogue with Clarín .

In addition, the lawyer said that "the experts said that as the old operating system has the first thing to do to continue the process is to update it." However, they were not encouraged to make that decision because of "fear": "They were afraid that the information would be lost with the update."
So, in the week of February 17 a hearing will be set to finally carry out the unlocking. "All the parties will be there and there will be the corresponding expert opinion with a view of all," Cipolla explained.

If the result is negative again, the tablet will be sent to the company that sold the software for the different agencies and that they themselves take care of the process.
"The Procuration of the province of Buenos Aires should collaborate with us and with the prosecutors we are fighting to assign us shifts, as they did in the case of Fernando Báez Sosa," he concluded.
