Settlement Resistance Office: The occupation authorities increased settlement operations after the American administration announced the deal of the century

The National Office for the Defense of the Earth and Resistance to Settlement affiliated to the Palestine Liberation Organization affirmed that after the American administration announced its dictates to liquidate the Palestinian issue called "Deal of the Century", the occupation authorities stepped up settlement operations in the occupied Palestinian territories in violation of international legitimacy resolutions demanding its cessation.

Ma'an news agency quoted the office’s report issued today that despite the announcement by the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Fatou Bensouda, at the end of last year, the end of the preliminary study phase to open an investigation into the crimes of the occupation in the occupied Palestinian territories, including settlement. The occupation authorities intensified their expansionist colonial practices in a clear challenge to the international community From the American administration.

The report pointed out that the occupation authorities seized dozens of agricultural acres of Palestinian land in the areas of Ain al-Hawiyyah, Wadi al-Hamra, al-Husaynat, Qurnat Abu Ali, Khalat al-Ghazawi and al-Bus, west of Bethlehem, and bulldozed 250 dunums of land in Khlet al-Nahleh between the towns of Haris and Burkin in Salfit to expand settlements established on the lands of The Palestinians razed large areas of fertile agricultural land in the villages of Douma, Talfit, Qaryut, and al-Mughair, south of Nablus, to construct an 8-km settlement road that extended to the village of Fasayil in the Jordan Valley.

The report stated that the occupation authorities prevented Palestinian farmers in Al-Mughair, northeast of Ramallah, from accessing their lands and warned to demolish agricultural facilities in the Homs Al-Tahta area in the northern Jordan Valley.

The report stated that the settlers continue their attacks against West Bank cities and towns with the protection of the occupation forces, as they stormed the village of Nabi Saleh, northwest of Ramallah, the Fukin Valley, west of Bethlehem, and the village of Sanur, south of Jenin, and attacked Palestinian homes and property.
