The Legislative Council elections are held in September this year. All parties are drawing up candidates for the war. Among them, the DAB has established an intra-party primary election mechanism. The leadership and regional branches will vote, attendance, and other methods, and "general election" party members will represent the DAB. The seats for direct elections and super district councils in the battlefields will be closed next Tuesday (18th). The Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong (DAB) was hit hard last year by a number of bi-legal members, including the promotion of the Legislative Councillor Zhou Haoding through the Super District Council. The leadership and regional branches will vote, attendance, and other methods, and "general election" party members will represent the DAB. The Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong (DAB) was hit hard last year by a number of bi-legal members, including the promotion of the Legislative Councillor Zhou Haoding through the Super District Council. Yan Wenyu has signed up for the primaries, replacing Zhou Haoding's vacancies.

The Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong (DAB) convened the Central Committee last month to establish a primary election mechanism within the party and decide on candidates. Among them, in the district council (second) sector commonly known as the "super district council", the DAB currently has two seats, which are party chairman Li Huiqiong and vice chairman Zhou Haoding, but lost the "super district" as Zhou Haoding lost in the district election. For admission, the party needs to find another candidate to fight.

The DAB still hopes to send two teams to play in the "super-zone". In addition to Li Huiqiong's continued leadership, it is reported that the Deputy Secretary-General of the DAB and Kwun Tong District Councilor Yan Wenyu have signed up for the election. Yan Wenyu, the former chairman of the Young Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong, is one of the few establishments who successfully held seats in the district elections. He has twice participated in the "super district" elections and was placed behind Li Huiqiong's list. .

As for direct elections in the five districts, many current members will apply for re-election. Among them, Jiulong East has only applied for Ke Chongsheng so far, and it is expected that they will be able to qualify. The most fierce competition is the New Territories West. The current Liang Zhixiang and Chen Hengxi will fight for re-election, and they will be challenged by Zhou Haoding and former Tuen Mun District Councilman Ye Wenbin, who are directly elected in the region.
