A new type of coronavirus (Wuhan pneumonia) has made people all over Hong Kong frightened. A variety of cleaning supplies and foods on the market have been in short supply over the past few days. This morning (17th), the toilet paper robbery was even more alarming. At about 6.05 in the morning, the delivery workers delivered multiple rolls of toilet paper to a supermarket on the ground floor of 97 Mong Kok Road, and placed the goods outside the store for care.

Sources said that the supermarket was only open at 7 am. When the goods arrived about 15 minutes later, three men wearing hats and masks were thrown out. One of them held two sharp knives to intimidate the delivery male worker. He shouted, "Sit down!" And immediately put 60 rolls of toilet paper into a trolley, and then "carry the paper with a car" and escape along Prince Street towards Prince Edward.

Police subsequently closed the scene for investigation and enclosed toilet paper still outside the store. The officers also intercepted it nearby. Within 10 meters of the junction of Sai Yee Street and Mong Kok Road, they found a luggage bag suspected to belong to the gangster. The police classified the case as "robbery" and are now pursuing the culprits. As seen at the scene, more than a hundred rows of rolls of toilet paper were placed outside the supermarket door, as well as cooking oil and biscuits.
