Al-Hilal in front of the tenth conference of the General Sports Federation: Victory is one in the field of confrontation against terrorism and in production, sports and science

Under the slogan "Sports is an act and achievement to keep the flag of the homeland raised," the tenth general conference of the General Sports Federation began today, and will last for three days with the participation of 443 members.

In a speech to him during the opening, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Eng. Hilal Al-Hilal, stressed the importance of sporting achievements made by Syrian heroes and heroines in international forums, noting the great interest of athletes in developing all sporting activities in all its branches, which is in itself an interest in the homeland because sport is a collective activity that enhances belonging to the country .

Al-Hilal said that it is “a great feeling of pride in national belonging when athletes watch a Syrian flag rising in the international forums to confirm that the voice of Syria is heard everywhere .. and that victory is one and indivisible, as it is in the field of confrontation and in production, sports, science, culture, construction and fruitful work in all sectors” Referring to the integration of the championships of Syrian athletes, which raised the Syrian flag high with the championships of our valiant army in its war on terrorism, noting the sacrifices of our martyrs in exchange for the homeland and the victories of our army as they confront terrorism and proceeding with a will to eliminate it and restore security and stability to the whole of Syria.

In turn, the head of the General Sports Federation, Major General Mwaffaq Jumaa explained that despite the difficult circumstances that she lived during the past years, she participated in many international championships and was an ambassador to Syria and her heroes and her heroines during the ninth session were able to obtain 1534 medals, raise the flag and play the national anthem, drawing their resolve and will from the glory of our army Basil.

Major General Juma pointed to the attention that Syrian sports receive and the care given to athletes and the laws that have strengthened their championships.

The opening ceremony witnessed various artistic paragraphs and a series of sports shows with the wide participation of Syrian athletes.

The conference was attended by Vice President of the National Progressive Front, Major General Mohamed Al-Shaar, members of the central leadership of the Baath Arab Socialist Party, general secretaries of the National Progressive Front parties, and Minister of Education Imad Al-Azab.

The conference activities include discussing the general report and the mathematical reality, formulating and approving proposals and recommendations, and voting on the names of the Central Council for the tenth session.
