Andrea Hafner has set many accents at the Dorfen grammar school. This became clear when the senior study director was adopted in a small ceremony. She returns to her old place of work in Erding, now as director of the Korbinian-Aigner-Gymnasium.
Before moving to Dorfen, she was already the representative of Hans-Joachim Fuhrig, who has retired. Hafner's successor in Dorfen is also secured. Markus Höß, previously head of the Comenius-Gymnasium Deggendorf, will start work here on Monday.
Hafner was "overwhelmed by such a beautiful farewell" by the entire school family. In the three and a half years she never felt like "an intruder". Personally, it was important to her not only to be perceived as a headmistress, "but also as a person and person". In front of the school family in the assembly hall, Hafner said: "For me it was always about the people at the high school." She was very happy to run the school. "I was happy to be there for you," she emphasized to the students: "I am grateful for the appreciation and trust, but also for the enormous creativity and remarkable projects that you have achieved with the teachers."
The change was "not a decision against the Dorfen high school, but because I can change to where I live," said Hafner.
Her deputy named Christina Christiano Hafner as a very popular headmistress. It was her concern "to participate in the development of a modern and human school". She got a lot of things going. The high school is today, among other things, inclusive school, the STEM and environmental profile has been strengthened very much. The school is “fine and well equipped. We all feel very comfortable ”. The three and a half years were characterized by "a very good, open and appreciative cooperation". Christiano Hafner expressed great thanks for this on behalf of the college.
The chairman of the staff council, Alexander Graf, also found praise. Hafner "pushed a lot and modernized". It leaves a good school atmosphere. Hafner was always important to "take the whole school family with you" and "humanity and respectful interaction with each other". The door to the director was always open. This is also why the news of the departure was "a shock for many" and is very regretted. "That means she did a lot of things right."
Deputy parent spokesman Werner Schüler emphasized Hafner's leadership qualities. She was not a sole entertainer, but understood how to "take the people along on the way to move the school forward".
