Grafing - The actors were so eager that the visitors had to be almost afraid that the daredevil gymnasts might crash headlong with their many patches: the Grafinger carnival variety is and remains an accident-free work of art that is worn is a huge commitment of many individuals, from those responsible down to four-year-old children. Enthusiastic audience from the first minute
At the premiere on Friday evening, which was to be followed by further performances on Saturday and Sunday, the actors had the audience in the town hall under control from the very first minute. The acrobatic intro was created by the Cool Turnkids, tiny fleas, who approached the performance with a touching earnestness and immediately won over the audience. In general, the gymnasts contested large stretches of the program, some of which were spectacularly put into perspective by Klaus Welm and his technical team, such as the number "Underwater World" of the gymnast girls, the "Spring Festival" of the gymnasts or the performance of the show dance group High Energy, their Lifting figures easily filled the airspace above the stage. Evi Kaiser from the Movimento group also performed impressively with a solo number on a narrow giant tire, with which she swept across the stage as if she had done nothing else all her life than training on a wheel.

As always, the highly anticipated potpourris of the three clowns Girgl, Ferdl and Wiggerl took up a lot of space. Hermann Holzmann, Martin Weigand and Stefan Marschner were not only well prepared, but had also come up with something special this year in addition to their hearty punch lines. They craftily placed a red flag on the table for the Mayor of Grafingen, Angelika Obermayr, and her colleague Ebersberg, Walter Brilmayer, which was like a foxtail on an extendable car antenna and had the imprint "CS" on it. That meant something like "clown schnapps", and those waving the flag ordered three schnapps with slices of lime for the cheeky singers. It worked so well that evening that the visitors soon began to test how many of these pieces of lime the trio would still be able to tolerate without forgetting their text. The clowns bravely defended themselves and spread their broadsides against the local celebrities, who in turn insidiously and, to the public's delight, returned the favor with further rounds of schnapps that this was the only way.
Dignitaries vigorously put on grain
The Mayor of Grafingen and her competitors for the town hall chair were attacked by the carnival bears, who had dragged a tanker onto the stage, which the new applicants passed more or less as flotsam. And because two of these aspirants, given their first names, are Christian, their slogan was: "Choose Christian, not Christian." One of the two was said by the clowns that when he visited a pub he had left his jacket, wallet and town hall key hanging in the pub, and the next day the landlord of the locality used this garment to clean the toilets before returning to his owner.
After the break and the strong number "Light Warriors" of the female gymnastics youth, the Grafinger fire brigade led visitors from abroad through the city to see that not everything that shines externally is open, which also made the town hall an issue.
Many strong numbers
After listening to music from the 80s, the cuddly bear gang, a group of young men, managed to lure the young female visitors of the carnival variety completely from the reserve again at an already advanced hour. Then the guard girls, who had already designed the beginning of the program, set a visually very successful end. The variety directors Thomas Urban and Felix Richter routinely guided through the program.
