Agnès Buzyn's candidacy for the municipal elections in Paris was immediately hailed by LREM Sunday as an "excellent choice" for "gathering" . But his Parisian rivals, the opposition and health professionals denounce the "abandonment" of his post, in full "coronavirus, hospital crisis" and debate on pensions.

This choice weakens the executive in the midst of a health crisis, to the detriment of a possible rally and victory behind Cédric Villani.
