Will France become a country where knives are brought out at the slightest dispute? The question is far from trivial, while the news is increasing, week after week. On February 11, in Les Lilas (Seine-Saint-Denis), a motorist died stabbed by another, for a vulgar story of place in a queue of service station. The day before, in Montpellier (Hérault), an 18-year-old young woman was found between life and death, her body pierced, in an apartment she rented near the Saint-Roch train station. On February 7, in the same city, it was a 30-year-old woman who her ex-boyfriend disfigured with a knife after an argument, when she wanted to recover the keys to their former marital home.

There was also, on February 3, a knife attack at the gendarmerie of Dieuze (Moselle) by a 19-year-old soldier, claiming to act on behalf of the Islamic State. The news was finally marked, last January 29, by the dramatic brawl of the district
