Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this morning (Sunday) addressed the opening of the government meeting on the Corona virus crisis and the foreign ministry's announcement earlier that three Israelis, aboard the "Diamond Princess" ship off the coast of Japan, were found to be carrying the Cubid virus 19. The Prime Minister addressed the issue and the request of the Israelis who are on the ship to return to Israel as soon as possible, saying that "those who are not infected will come to Israel, those who are infected stay there and we pray for their safety."

Earlier, just before the Cabinet meeting, Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz also addressed the Foreign Ministry's announcement of the infection of three of the country's citizens with the Corona virus, stressing that efforts are being made to bring Israelis back to Israel, provided the move does not involve the risk of citizens of Israel who are in Israel. "Three Israelis were taken off the ship for treatment. We concluded that we would bring the other Israelis to Israel to transport them to Israel for isolation," said Minister Katz, adding that "we will rescue them without endangering the public in the country. An airline funded by insurance companies is organized to bring them overseas and direct."

As mentioned earlier, the Ministry of Health announced today that in Japan three Israeli passengers were diagnosed aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship infected with the deadly corona virus. The condition of the three Israeli civilians found to be carriers of the Cubid-19 virus is defined as minor.

The Ministry of Health is in direct contact with the authorities in Japan, the World Health Organization and other relevant bodies. The Ministry of Health said that for the Israelis diagnosed with the virus, they were transferred to a hospital in Japan, and Israel will send a specialist physician to contact the relevant parties in Japan and accompany them in the medical procedure.

As for the rest of the Israelis on the ship, insofar as they do not find the virus positive, the firm is in contact with the insurance companies in order to check the possibility of returning them to Israel by direct dedicated flight through the insurance companies in which they are insured. Upon their return, they will go into isolation and medical surveillance.
