Storm Dennis: more than 10,000 homes without electricity in Brittany and Pas-de-Calais

About 7000 homes were deprived of electricity this Sunday, February 16 in Brittany due to the passage of the storm "Dennis", we learned from Enedis. According to the manager of the electricity distribution network, around noon, the cuts also concerned 4,500 homes in Finistère, 2,500 in Ile-et-Vilaine, 2,000 in Morbihan and 1,000 in Côtes-d'Armor.

According to the Enedis regional communication, 450 agents are mobilized in the field to restore electricity. The number of homes affected is similar to those affected by the passage of storm Ciara last Monday, according to the same source.

According to our partner the Chaîne Météo *, this Sunday, from Pays-de-la-Loire to Lorraine via the Paris basin, the gusts will be frequent 80 to 100 km / h, with locally maximum gusts between 100 and 115 km / h.

In Lille, the municipality has decided to close its parks and gardens for the day of Sunday February 16. Boarding delays are expected at the port of Calais in the direction of Dover. For its part, the maritime prefecture calls for caution and " strongly advises against all nautical leisure activities ".
