(ANSA) - MACERATA, FEBRUARY 16 - Leopardi's Infinito translated into 27 languages, from Aramaic and Gaelic to Emojitalian. It is the theme of an exhibition "The Infinite. A story through images and documents" in the Ancient Rooms of the Mozzi-Borgetti Municipal Library of Macerata until April 16: books, documents and the 27 translations of the famous poetry on display, plus photos by Fernando Palmieri. The exhibition was set up by the Leopardi Cathedra of the University of Macerata by ManuelaMartellini in collaboration with the Leopardi National Center of Studies in Recanati, Italy. and the Municipality of Macerata. Leopardi's translations date from the aftermath of death. A bibliography has been created with a scholarship from the Lions Club: among the languages there are Aramaic, Gaelic, Albanian, Chinese and Japanese up to Emojitalian by the web community coordinated by Francesca Chiusaroli.
