Germering - "This, this party, it just has to stay." Tommy Oliek has long booked the Upfinger carnival. The 38-year-old is not constantly and everywhere at parties. "But I'm going to treat myself to a few highlights. And that's why I'm here, ”says the Germeringer. The mood, the bands and show groups - everything would fit perfectly. It is well received by Oliek that everyone could find themselves at the Upfinger Carnival and feel good.
Over 1000 guests at the Upfinger Carnival
In fact, there are people of older ages in the audience who can do a few more years like Oliek as well as young people whose 18th birthday was not too long ago. Because that is the magical limit in terms of age. "No one comes in under 18," says Christian Zigann, second chairman of the Unterpfaffenhofen boys. The security service also handles this at the fourth Upfinger carnival. The ID will be checked where necessary. There are no major difficulties.

Because the Unterpfaffenhofen boys keep the flow of visitors in a manageable range. More than 1150 guests do not come into the hall. "It is no fun on a crowded dance floor if you constantly bump into something," explains Christian Zigann of the voluntarily set maximum limit. "So everyone can move to their heart's content." In addition, the waiting time at the bar is less. Zigann shows that he sees this as a small detail for the success of the Upfinger carnival.
Anticipation for the Allinger men's ballet
For him, carnival is also part of the lifestyle. "In Bavaria we actually have the sixth season with the carnival in addition to the strong beer," he says with a smile. The Upfinger Mardi Gras is a special event just because of the show band Nachtstark and the show dance group Fun Unlimited.
The Allinger men's ballet, which only occurs every two years, was well received by organizers and the public.

The lad's representative was quite optimistic about what Tommy Oliek's wish for a fifth edition of the Upfinger Mardi Gras will meet in the coming year. "It always has to pay off," explains Zigann. With all the fun that the Unterpfaffenhofen fraternity has to prepare and party, the whole thing must of course also pay off financially. Therefore, you decide that from year to year. "The praise and recognition we get will also play a role."
