Although Hubert Oberhauser and Markus Hofner, two incumbent municipal councilors, have switched to the CSU, the Hilgertshausen-Tandern electorate is confident in the municipal council election.

Hilgertshausen-Tandern - Although Hubert Oberhauser and Markus Hofner, two incumbent local councilors have been added to the list of the CSU, the Hilgertshausen-Tandern (WGHT) electorate is confident in the local council election. "We expect to move into the new municipal parliament with six to seven people again," said Simon Schlatterer and Hans Pröbstl, who top the WGHT list, at the election meeting in the Tafernwirtschaft in Niederdorf.

WGHT spokesman Werner Kerzel, who deliberately placed himself on the 6th place on the list, showed here what this party-free group has achieved together with the other factions in the municipal council in the past five and a half years and how the goals for the next six Years look.

It was possible to build the fire station in Tandern and to start the construction of a children's house in Hilgertshausen with optimal child and school child care. The creation of youth spaces, both in Hilgertshausen and in Tandern, and the establishment of a youth meeting point in Tandern were also successful. Another important factor is the fundamental decision that both school houses will be preserved in the medium term. Kerzel said that future noon care will take the form of a daycare center and that preparatory work has already been done to expand the kindergarten in Tandern.

The aim of the WGHT is the further development of youth work as well as the promotion of the cultural landscape concept and environmental protection in the community. After all, it is the task of the community to maintain at least 60 hectares of so-called ecological areas. "With us there won't be any fancy ideas. We are not Greens, ”assured Kerzel, who also believes that the development of the municipal infrastructure based on sensible land use planning is elementary. The WGHT also advocates a moderate expansion of the commercial space. Regardless of which projects, the topic of "sustainability" must always be taken into account. Regenerative energies should also be considered in the sewage treatment plant.

The WGHT also advocates cross-local networking of senior citizens' work, especially in the area of neighborhood assistance, senior citizens' officers, senior citizens' meetings, VdK and Caritas. With Kerzel's offer - he is still only 59 - to provide voluntary driving services for retired seniors with limited mobility, he immediately received support from his colleagues in the WGHT, Rudi Effner and Manfred Roth.

Volunteering is very important to the WGHT candidates. 13 of the 16 municipal council candidates are already volunteers in various areas. According to Kerzel's ideas, the new municipal council should pay more attention to honorary work, for example in the form of awarding citizens' medals.

The creation of affordable (rental) living space for young and old is a clear demand of the WGHT. One thinks of the designation of residential building land and the creation of areas that can be offered in the building land model and sometimes also freely. With regard to social housing, the housing association of the district offers itself.

It remains to be seen whether Kerzel wants the revaluation and revitalization of the town centers to succeed. In any case, it is important to strengthen public transport. It already shows that the call taxi is very well received. Therefore, it is in the spirit of the WGHT to integrate the call taxi in the MVV and also to extend it on Sundays and public holidays.

According to Werner Kerzel, a good institution in the community is the community foundation created in 2019 with the finding that some projects have already been funded through the community foundation "and the pot is slowly filling".

A glance at the municipal council candidate flyer shows that Mayor Markus Hertlein, who will be available for election again in three years, is fully supported by the WGHT as a district council candidate of the CSU (list position 18).

Hertlein, to whom the Citizens List Tandern also promised support for moving into the district council, took the opportunity to advertise in Niederdorf. As he explained, the rural immigration region is becoming increasingly important in district politics. Therefore, in addition to Dachau and Karlsfeld, the district municipalities should also be well represented in the district council. Hertlein's appeal: "Select the mayors from rural areas on the district council lists".
