"No matter which color you choose, it is important that you choose." Young city council candidates are sending this call ahead of the local elections in March 2020. Eight young Schongauers are campaigning across parties to vote: “Vote young!” Is their call.
Schongau - Tobias Fuhrmann (SPD), Robert Langhammer (UWV), Michael Boos (CSU), Thomas Schleich (CSU), Christian Hübsch (SPD), Esra Böse (Greens), Teresa Subiabre Haseitl (Greens) and Florian Raab (UWV). The latter, together with Thomas Schleich, had the idea, as Raab himself reports. "I proposed two concepts, and in a creative round at the Löwenhof we developed it amazingly quickly."
The candidates ask the question: "What do you decide?" There are completely different answers, but all of them from a somewhat younger perspective. The film was recorded with the Filmbaar team in Fuhrmann's photo studio - in just one evening. The material was cut the same night. "It all worked out wonderfully, also because everyone worked so well in front of the camera and followed all the instructions so well," says Raab.
Feedback is good: Over 10,000 views already
The response is just as good. Published on the film pair page and via the private channels of the city council candidates, Raab already estimates the Facebook views at over 10,000, Instagram would add a few thousand views. "Every Schongauer should have already seen it," says Raab.
What is striking, and has already been commented pejoratively: One or two young ALS candidates are missing in the round. Although he spoke to Gregor Schuppe about it during the development phase, he did not yet know who could be put up, said Raab. After that, it was no longer noticed that someone was missing from a group. "It slipped through us, nobody thought of it," regrets Raab. He had already apologized for it.
