A 40-year-old motorcyclist was killed Monday in a road accident on Highway 40, between Rehovot and Moshav Sitria. After being hit by a car at the intersection of East Streets in the direction of Ramla, the MDA team found him without signs of life and determined his death.
An emergency medicine medic on MDA Motorcycle, Eden Sinai, said that "When we arrived on the scene, we saw a motorcycle on the road and a 40-year-old man with severe multi-system injury was lying nearby. The accident comes four days after another fatal car accident involving a motorcyclist. In the previous accident, the 25-year-old motorcycle rider was apparently killed in self-inflicted traffic on Moshe Dayan Avenue in Ashdod. The MDA team provided him with medical treatment and performed CPR, which eventually forced him to die, and police launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
