The sub-workshops of the coastal area of ​​the General Company for Roads and Bridges and the Foundation for the Implementation of Military Construction (Matta 6) in Latakia started the implementation of several projects for maintenance of roads, sanitation and rain in the industrial area of ​​Lattakia.

Director of Industrial Zones in Lattakia Al-Muhannadi Muhammed Amin Ali stated to Lana that the Roads and Bridges Company's workshops are currently working on maintaining roads in the Wood Industries division and replacing pavement layers after excavating them to the foundation level at four sites and a total area of ​​1600 square meters indicating that these works aim to invest a break Asphalt plants for all sites to be ready for paving with the start of the works of asphalt during the next April, in addition to providing adequate stacking for the founding layers, pointing at the same time that the work is running in parallel with the implementation of a rain drainage project in the same site with a distance of approximately 100 meters.

Eng. Ali drew directly to the workshops of the Mata 6 branch, also by implementing a sewage and rain sewage line of approximately 500 meters on the road between the industrial zone and the cardamom market and the construction and development company after the paving of this road was accomplished during the summer season, indicating that the work aims to accommodate rain raids and drainage lines Health in the region and treat bottlenecks in it.

Workshops of the Roads and Bridges Branch also work, according to the Director of Industrial Zones, to replace paving layers in more than one area within the Building Materials Industries division for later paving, including sections that will be completely replaced and paved.

To that, the Technical Services Directorate started implementing a sanitation project in the village of Al-Suma'a Al-Eidia in the governorate countryside, at a total cost of 20 million Syrian pounds.

The director of technical services, Eng. Wael Al-Jurdi, explained that the project serves about 20 houses in the village with a sewage network, which is approximately 650 meters long, using poly ethylene pipes, 30 centimeters in diameter, pointing out that the Directorate is implementing several sanitation projects within its plan for the current year.
