The accident happened around 2:50 p.m. The man from Munich was on the way from Lenggries to Jachenau. Shortly before the town sign, he lost control of his machine in a slight right turn. He came to the left across the middle of the lane, collided with an oncoming car, and was then thrown into the right-hand ditch, the police report. There is a natural stone wall.
Any help came too late for the motorcyclist. The resuscitation measures on site were unsuccessful, reports a police officer from Tölz. The helpers had requested a helicopter that had landed on the nearby soccer field. There was also a man from Munich in the oncoming car. The 42-year-old remained uninjured but suffered a shock. An expert now has to clarify why the accident occurred. In addition to the police, the BRK and ten members of the Jachenau fire department were at the scene of the accident.
The Florian disciples took over the rescue work and took care of securing the accident site. The assignment lasted four hours. The property damage amounts to a total of 20,000 euros. The two vehicles were secured for the preparation of the report.
