The 14 candidates for the municipal council of the community of voters Neuching (WGN) and the recently formed group with Markus Hermansdorfer says: "We are shaping Neuching".
Niederneuching– On Sunday the candidate for mayor and his troop introduced themselves in the fire station. "Right at the start, I would like to say that I am not the big speaker," Hermansdorfer admitted: "I prefer to tackle it." The aircraft mechanic has been in the town council for six years and his whole life in Neuching. The family association plays a major role for the 37-year-old and his wife Silvia. Hermansdorfer also took parental leave for his two sons Andreas and Ludwig. "We did not choose not to go to the crèche, but to bring up our parents and grandparents," he clarified.
The care of young people is a component of the WGN election program. "We want to press ahead with a new childcare facility," said Hermansdorfer. However, community development should be based on the needs of everyone - and that is independent of age and also applies to families and senior citizens. A centrally located and well-equipped playground should act as a meeting point for families from all over Neuching. In addition, the WGN would like to create concepts for assisted living as well as for community facilities for families and seniors in order to positively influence community development.
"But we will also have to think about alternative living options," said Hermansdorfer. Speaking of living: WGN wants to enable affordable building sites. "The growth of the community does not only mean showing building sites, but also creating or expanding all other necessary facilities and infrastructures," says the election program.
The church should grow, but with measure and goal. The WGN cannot get past the multi-purpose hall and wants to create a play and recreation area on the sports hall grounds. There are still opportunities to purposefully expand your leisure time, for example with a weather-resistant hard court. Basketball hoops or goals could be attached there so that as many age and interest groups as possible have fun. In addition, local businesses are to be promoted, new companies acquired and environmental protection aspects within the municipality promoted.
"For me, my candidacy is not a political stepping stone," stressed Hermansdorfer, who is also a volunteer. Among other things, he is chairman of the sport fishing club Neuching and active in the fire department in Niederneuching. The WGN wants to support all Neuchingen associations and the voluntary work in general.
“You have to weigh yourself who can be the right mayor for you. I am young and fresh and would like to take full responsibility for the community, ”Hermansdorfer said at the end. "It won't just be honey licking. I am well aware of that. But I would be happy if you would give me your vote. ”Afterwards, the guests were allowed to taste white sausages and Viennese as well as fruit at the expense of the WGN. The St. Martin Oberneuching kindergarten can look forward to the proceeds in the donation box.
