The news of Julia Reitbauer's death in distant Bolivia spread like wildfire in the district town. The family and the many friends of the 25-year-old Brucker were deeply shaken by the unbelievable and sad news.

Fürstenfeldbruck - you all cannot understand why you should suddenly no longer see the cheerful and popular young woman again.

On December 3rd, Julia and her 33-year-old friend Christopher Schütze started their trip to South America with joy. The young couple - who had been together for eight years - wanted to travel the South American continent for three months. After exploring Chile, Bolivia and Peru by bus and plane, Julia had to go to hospital for eight days with pneumonia in the 3500 meter high Andean city of Cusco. "Then she was actually fine," says her friend Christopher, hesitating. The two continued their journey. However, a pulmonary embolism in Julia's young life on February 3 brought an abrupt end.

"She is a real Brucker child," says mother Gisi. Kindergarten, school, training, everything Julia did in Bruck. Many friendships existed from that time. After training as a hairdresser, Julia added further training as a legal assistant and graduated as the best. In April she should start her further training as a legal specialist.

With the EVF and the Razorbacks

Julia learned to skate with Conny Schober at EVF, where her father Sepp and brother Tobi are still active today. Later Julia worked as a trainer in the club. At the Razorbacks she was a cheerleader and also active as a trainer. As an active dancer, she joined the home guild, where she founded her own group with the former "No Limits" dancers.

The associations to which Julia belonged took the news of her death with great dismay and set up a joint donation account to help the family, who are facing enormous costs for the transfer and funeral. "We can not take the pain out of the relatives, but at least support the family financially," said the home guild, Razorbacks and EVF.

On Wednesday everyone can say goodbye to Julia and accompany them on their last journey - as they all knew, and not in black, the family wishes. The funeral service starts at 10 a.m. in the forest cemetery, followed by the funeral.
