Barcelona was able to approach Real Madrid this weekend and smile because in two dates you will have the possibility to play a hand in hand that can place you at the top. But the most important news in the last hours for the whole team is foreign to football: the club's leadership would have hired a company, in an agreement worth close to a million euros, to improve the image of the club and its president , Josep Maria Bartomeu, in social networks and, incidentally, discredit his political rivals.
As reported on Monday the program Què t'hi you play! of the Cadena Ser, the club would have signed a contract with E3 Ventures to create favorable states of opinion for the institution.
On the one hand, the aforementioned organization would have created "unofficial" Facebook and Twitter profiles for players such as Gerard Piqué on his side as an entrepreneur or Lionel Messi for his contract renewal. Pep Guardiola, Carles Puyol or Xavi would also have been some of the victims of these fictitious users.
Piqué, one of the victims of the smear campaign.
The company signed with the club three years ago for a smaller amount than necessary to need the approval of the shareholders. The club itself recognizes the existence of a collaboration contract with them but ensures that they have no order to perform such practices.

The aforementioned show also warned that the cast culé defends that the premise was to publish "positive messages" despite the fact that entities and former presidents (Joan Laporta, for example) have been attacked from those profiles.
Bartomeu, the president of Barcelona.
Two of the presidential candidates of the club, who were also subject to this smear campaign, such as Agustí Benedito and Víctor Font, have already reacted. The first, who attended the presidency in past elections, warned that the club "will respond in court." While the remaining said in a statement that Bartomeu and his Board should "leave immediately" to explain why "embarrass" their partners.
