Two members of the US House of Representatives, Jim Jordan and Mike Johnson, took a tour of Judea and Samaria and the Jordan Valley yesterday, and visited the Cave of the Patriarchs, Gush Etzion, Shiloh, and Pisgat Winery.
Speaking to "Israel Today," the two, close to US President Trump, argued that "these areas should certainly be part of Israel." According to Jordan, "Trump's recognition of these areas, which many in the world call settlements, shows how strong the US-Israel commitment and relationship is."
His colleague Johnson added that "the sooner the sovereign steps happen - the better. Many in the Republican Party have reservations about the so-called" two-state solution "because as a Christian who believes in the Bible, I don't see it."
The day of the tours was organized by the project "Yes Israel", by the political consulting firm "Initiative Yaffe".
