Elements of the Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Directorate in Homs have seized, in cooperation with the competent authorities, a home gas inspector in Al-Khidr neighborhood that has a monopoly on 47 gas cylinders hidden in a wood depot.

Eng. Rami Al-Youssef, Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, stated that the Gas Certifier refrained from escaping the delivery of gas cylinders to their beneficiaries, despite the arrival of letters to them from Takamul Company to receive the material from his center and graduating their cards on his Takamul device with the intent to trade and dispose of them other than the purpose designated for them.

And Al-Youssef indicated that the necessary supply control was organized against the violator and referred to the competent authorities to complete the investigation and the gas cylinders were confiscated.

In the same context, the Directorate seized a truck driver who loaded 700 racks of flour from the warehouses of the Syrian Grains Corporation to one of the automated bakeries, and after unloading them in the bakery warehouse, it became clear that there was a shortage of the delivered amount by 15 ration bags.

And Al-Youssef indicated that a seizure has been organized against the driver for violating trafficking and disposition of the amount of 15 ration bags, other than the intended purpose, and taking the necessary legal procedures.
