The National Health Commission of China announced today that the daily number of confirmed new cases of the disease caused by the Corona virus has fallen to less than 2000, for the first time, indicating improved disease control.
Xinhua News Agency quoted Mei Feng, a spokesperson for the committee, as saying at a press conference: "Today we witnessed a decrease in the number of new confirmed cases outside Hubei to less than 100 cases for the first time, and the daily number of new deaths fell to less than 100 across the country for the first time." That this decline is an encouraging sign that the disease control situation is improving.
May added: The Chinese health authorities have received reports from 31 provinces at the provincial level and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reports 1886 confirmed new cases and 98 deaths due to Corona, stressing that China will enhance in the next stage the current results to control the disease and support the treatment of patients in severe conditions and use Traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine in treatment.
China, where the new Corona virus was discovered for the first time about two months ago, and the countries of the world are continuing to take strict measures to curb the spread of the virus and make every effort to control it and find effective treatment for it.
